Ashlee knew she had to pay for college on her own. She took out student loans and thought it was mind-boggling to fill out the forms and try to understand all the fine-print. She realizes that she will have to eventually pay back her student loans and that it's a debt she owes, but she looks at it as a donation to the school that helped her build a new life.
